"The world you and Scott live in is wicked and chaotic, it craves someone to bring order! Someone worthy. Like me! Not like your cowardly uncle... Give me the Hero Books, and I'll become the hero this world truly needs." - Super Scott (Battle on the Bridge)

Personality[]

At the moment, much of Super Scott’s true personality is a mystery for most of the show, but from what little is seen of him in Season 1, he demonstrates that he is a very powerful individual, both physically and mentally. He is rather condescending, as he psychoanalyzed Dirko’s motivations for using the Hero Books, even calling him a disgrace right to his face. He’s also rather manipulative, as he gave Dirko several new Hero Books, claiming they were a “gift,” yet it was later revealed he used Dirko and The Council of Comics as pawns in his plan to “unleash Hero Books onto the entire world.” Despite his intimidating personality, he is shown caring for his elderly Reader, Cynthia, and complimented Christa on finding the “right guy for the job.”

In Season 2, his motives are further elaborated on in the episode Battle on the Bridge, where Super Scott reveals wishes to be set free of his comic, and thus is himself interested in locating Scott, and giving the world "True Justice", which he essentially elaborates as him taking over the world as a tyrant who gets to decide who lives and who dies, with it been revealed in a flashback that he will abandon those whose lives he thinks aren't worth saving, especially when he thinks not everyone in a situation can be saved.

Needless to say, this caused Scott to become highly disillusioned with him, sealing Super Scott away in his book and focusing instead on other Heroes, which in turn caused Super Scott to resent his creator, especially due to him thinking that Scott's other Heroes are pathetic. He also finds his hero outfit to be ridiculous, and a great shame, preferring his Civilian Attire, indicting he despises the very idea of Superheroes.

Relationships[]

  • Cynthia: Cynthia is Super Scott’s current Reader. While the extent of their relationship isn’t fully known, Super Scott does take care of her, wheeling her around in her wheelchair and getting tea for her. Cynthia in turn thinks of Super Scott as son to her
  • Scott: Scott is Super Scott's writer, and one of his creators. They used to work together to help others and fight crime, been close enough the Scott even confided in him about the Dizzy 7. Ultimately, their relationship fell through after Super Scott willingly abandoned people to die, Scott believing that a Hero should strive to save everybody, while Super Scott believed that some people were deserving of death and that he should pick who they were. This led to Scott sealing Super Scott inside his Hero Book. Years later, after Scott's disappearance, Super Scott showed disdain to Scott and the other heroes he created and was angered by the Council of Comics referring to Scott as a "god", only seeking him out so that he can have Scott free him from his Hero Book permanently.
  • Lucy: Lucy is one of Super Scott's creators, been the one to initially think him up, basing him off her Uncle Scott. In Battle on the Bridge, Super Scott admitted that he had always wanted to meet her, and desired to team up with her to help spread "True Justice", when Lucy found out that what he meant by that was essentially taking over the world and picking who lives and who dies, she expressed disgust with him and vowed to fight against him, with Super Scott in turn becoming antagonistic towards and proclaim that he "would not be stopped by a little girl"
  • Mr. Justice: Mr. Justice is one of the other Heroes that Scott created. Super Scott expressed disgust upon seeing him, and his lack of offensive power and fighting prowess, viewing Scott's other heroes as inferior. Mr. Justice in turn, views Super Scott with disgust, and as one who brings shame to all those seeking actual Justice
